About Us

Welcome to OBEYAJ Mental Health Resource Center (Pronounced Obey-Ah-Jay), a non-profit organization intended to bring awareness as well as understanding to a sickness that is taking over our society.

Then name O-BEY-A-J is the founder's son name spelled backward, the name looks complicated to pronounce because Mental health is a complicated sickness. People living with a mental health sickness suffer from minor  to major illnesses. O-BEY-A-J wants those suffering to know that together, we can help you find professionals in the health care system that provide proper care, medications that work, and nutritional support.  We know that with FAITH things will get better.

Understanding is KEY! The voices, disillusion, sadness, depression, and mood swings can be overcome when we decide to understand that mental illness should be treated like all other sickness. When diagnosed early, anyone can overcome and live a healthy, successful LIFE! O-BEY-A-J believes instead of listening to the voices, being moved by mood swings and sadness, listen to the voice of GOD and OBEY always HIS voice.
